Post-Conviction Attorney

OCFW is hiring a staff attorney to present our clients in post-conviction matters. Our practice is two-fold. Our largest practice is capital post-conviction, where we represent death-sentenced persons in constitutional challenges to their conviction and sentence. Our newest practice allows us to represent persons convicted of non-capital offenses in post-conviction challenges when questionable forensic science, negligence or misconduct contributed to their conviction. More information may be found here.

Postgraduate Fellowships

OCFW is eager to sponsor dedicated and passionate recent law school graduates for one or two-year postgraduate fellowship positions starting each fall. More information may be found here.

Law Student Clerkships

We welcome the applications of talented, committed law students as law clerks/externs during summer and semester periods. We consider applications on a rolling basis. More information may be found here.

We welcome the applications of talented, committed and exceptional college students and recent college graduates as interns. Please contact Sarah Brandon for more information: Sarah.Brandon@ocfw.texas.gov.
