Erin Eckhoff

Before joining the Office of Capital Writs in May 2014, Erin Eckhoff was a litigation associate at Ice Miller LLP in Chicago and Goodwin Procter LLP in New York. While working in the private sector, Ms. Eckhoff represented an Alabama death row inmate in his post-conviction appeals for more than six years. Ms. Eckhoff earned her law degree from the Northwestern University School of Law in 2007, where she spent her third year representing clients in their post-conviction appeals through the Bluhm Legal Clinic's Center on Wrongful Convictions. Ms. Eckhoff received her undergraduate degree from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. She is a member of the Texas and New York State bars.  Ms. Eckhoff is the Office Risk Management Coordinator.
