Natalie Corvington

Prior to joining the Office of Capital and Forensic Writs, Natalie worked as a trial attorney for 10 years, most recently at The Bronx Defenders in New York, and prior to that, in Massachusetts, representing indigent clients accused of serious felonies. Natalie graduated from Ohio State University law school with highest honors for public service, where she worked for the Federal Defenders of the Southern District of Ohio, assisting attorneys representing Guantanamo Bay detainees, and participated in the Juvenile Justice Clinic, representing children accused of crimes. She is a graduate of the National Criminal Defense College Trial Practice Institute in Macon, Georgia, and has a M.A. with honors in Comparative Literature. In a prior life, she was a college English instructor at Kent State University. She graduated with honors from Ohio State University with a B.A. in Women’s and African American Studies.
